It may technically take place within the franchise, but according to Moon Knight producer Grant Curtis, the upcoming Disney Plus show has no ties to it.
It’s unclear what, exactly, that means, as we know that the titular hero will go on to appear in other Marvel productions, but here’s what he had to offer:
“There’s no attachment to the current MCU. He’s brand-new, and he is going on a brand-new adventure. We really think the fans are going to enjoy it.”
If we had to guess what Curtis is trying to say, it’s simply that the story told in Moon Knight won’t tie into any pre-existing plots or threads that are currently dangling. But we’ll find out for sure on March 30th.
