Netflix is planning a spinoff for Money Heist revolving around Berlin, that much we know. But what else has been made public about it aside from its title (Berlin) and the fact that it’ll focus on the beloved character?
Well, not a whole lot, unfortunately. Money Heist creator Alex Pina will return to write the series, though, and given that there’s still so much we don’t know about Berlin’s backstory, he has plenty of avenues which he can explore. It’s also being speculated that we may get to see more of the heist that Berlin pulled off in “in Champs-Élysées, Paris where he stole 434 diamonds.”
Of course, Pedro Alonso has been confirmed to return as well, and the series will shoot this year to make its 2023 release. An exact premiere date for Money Heist‘s Berlin spinoff has yet to be revealed, but watch this space for more.
