It looks like audiences are loving Tom Hanks’ new movie Finch, with the film setting records over on Apple TV+.
Following its early November debut, the Miguel Sapochnik-directed apocalyptic drama became the platform’s most-watched movie, surpassing Hanks’ previous Apple TV+ effort, the WWII thriller Greyhound.
Sources close to Deadline say that it “more than doubled its opening day audience as the weekend progressed, and earned the largest opening weekend ever” on the two-year old streaming site. Impressive, indeed.
