Before he became one of Hollywood’s hottest talents, Ryan Reynolds starred in a fair amount of box office and critical bombs, and one of them is now rebounding pretty hard on Netflix.
The film in question is R.I.P.D. Co-starring Jeff Bridges, it follows a “recently slain cop who joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.” It’s estimated that it lost Universal about $100 million and while it wasn’t a completely awful movie, there’s not much to like about it, either.
But over on Netflix, R.I.P.D. has made its way onto the most-watched chart, placing in the Top 100 as of this writing and slowly inching its way up.
