Perhaps unsurprisingly, Joey King and Asa Butterfield can be found in the Top 2 movies on Netflix today, with Choose or Die sitting at #1 and The In Between at #2.
The former is a horror flick featuring the Sex Education star that is being destroyed by critics but bringing in lots of viewers regardless, with the plot following a “young coder who unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences.”
Meanwhile, King stars in The In Between, which follows much in the same vein as her Kissing Booth series as it revolves around another teen romance, this time involving a “teenage girl who believes her boyfriend is attempting to reconnect with her from the after world after a car accident takes his life.”
Frankly, neither film is great. But given Butterfield and King’s immense popularity on Netflix thanks to Sex Education and The Kissing Booth trilogy, seeing them in the Top 2 spots isn’t too surprising.
