New Doctor Strange 2 Easter Egg Connects Mr. Fantastic To Kang

A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Easter Egg has been discovered and it connects Mr. Fantastic to Kang.

If you’ve seen Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – and if you’re reading this, you probably have – you may’ve noticed that Mr. Fantastic’s entrance included a little visual nod towards Loki.

If you’ll recall, and as The Direct reminds us, when Reed Richards is first introduced, a “light blue square portal beams him into location by quickly moving upwards as his body emerges from underneath it.” As fans will surely know, this portal appears to be a pretty close match to the ones that the Time Variance Authority used in the aforementioned Disney Plus show.

Going one step further, and we know that these portals were invented by Kang and in the comics, he’s first known as Nathaniel Richards, “a 31st-century scholar who is a descendant of Reed Richards.” The connections run a bit deeper than that, too, but it certainly appears as if Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had a couple sneaky Easter Eggs that are strongly hinting at MCU events to come.
