A trend we tend to see on Netflix is movies featuring stars from popular TV shows on the platform performing extremely well, and that’s certainly the case with A Perfect Pairing, which is the #1 film globally today.
This one has Sex/Life‘s Adam Demos in the cast along with Victoria Justice, and follows an “LA wine exec who travels to an Australian sheep station, where she signs on as a ranch hand and hits it off with a rugged local.” It’s pretty standard stuff as far as rom coms go, but clearly Netflix users are digging it given its position right at the top of the most-watched movies list.
That makes a lot of sense, too, considering that Sex/Life was a monster hit for the platform and earned Demos a whole legion of new fans. And it appears as if they’re spending their time waiting for Season 2 of the series by checking out his other work.
