Bridgerton returned for its second season earlier this year but it was missing star Regé-Jean Page, as the actor was not included in the latest batch of episodes.
That didn’t come as much of a surprise, of course, as he chose to quit after Season 1, but he was definitely missed and it seems as if he may now be itching to come back. According to a rumor from The Sun, in fact, he’s had talks about a potential return, as the outlet reports:
“Rege-Jean was always very open about his intention to quit the show after the first season and to move on to other projects. But recently there has been a dialogue between him and the show’s bosses. Nothing has been formally agreed yet but watch this space. Things are very up in the air at the moment, but this will be an exciting year for Rege, without a doubt.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumblings of a Bridgerton return for the actor, and it probably won’t be the last, either. But until it’s confirmed by Netflix, it’s best to take all this with a grain of salt.
