Hulu’s Solar Opposites is an underrated adult-oriented series that really deserves a bigger audience than it has.
No one knows that better than Rick and Morty fans, with the show originating from Justin Roiland, who also created the popular Adult Swim project. As such, the 2 titles share a lot of similarities and viewers have now spotted a sneaky Rick and Morty Easter Egg in a Season 1 episode of Solar Opposites.
It comes in installment 1×06 “The P.A.T.R.I.C.I.A. Device,” when Korvo and Terry “create a robot named P.A.T.R.I.C.I.A who is programmed to act like female sitcom characters. But the programming goes awry, causing her to wreak havoc on their suburbia paradise.” And at around the 16:12 mark, we see a photo which appears to depict Morty’s older sister Summer, or someone who looks a lot like her.

Of course, there’s no confirmation that this is indeed her, but Roiland has already admitted that he’s into the idea of both series taking place in the same world. “It almost kind of feels like they could be happening in the same world or universe, you know, or the same planet almost,” he once said.
So, there you have it. No we just need to wait for there to be an official Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty crossover.
