Ms. Marvel brought with it a few interesting reveals, the biggest of which was the mutant-related Easter Egg in the finale. And it turns out that Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige had just 1 request for this moment.
“Well, to begin with, it was the last thing we read,” said the show’s directors. “So that was a best-kept secret. Nobody knew about it until we read the last version of the script and all of a sudden it was like, damn.
And then we would ask producers about it and we would not get any answers. Then Kevin Feige said: Just shoot this, put the little music on, and that’s it.
Clearly, Feige knows how important that theme music is to people and was definitely right to request that the Ms. Marvel team use it in the final episode. The reveal itself may have split opinion, but no doubt many appreciated hearing that familiar theme again.
