Daredevil: Born Again is easily one of the most-anticipated upcoming Marvel projects and according to insider Daniel Richtman, it’ll be based on a classic comic book arc.
Indeed, the series will apparently see Wilson Fisk running for Mayor of New York City, and the studio is now looking to cast the villain’s mayoral team, says Richtman.

Fans will recognize this plot thread as coming from the Mayor Fisk comic book arc from 2017-2018. Running across Daredevil #595-600, the synopsis reads:
“Daredevil’s greatest and deadliest adversary is now the city’s newly elected mayor!” the synopsis for Mayor Fisk reads. “And the stage is set for their most unbelievable showdown yet. Matt Murdock has the law and his incredible abilities in his arsenal — but Fisk has an entire city on his side. As the mayor declares Daredevil Public Enemy No. 1, Matt Murdock receives the most incredible offer of his legal career!”
If true, and it probably is as Richtman rarely misses, then it looks like Daredevil: Born Again is going to be a real treat for Marvel diehards.
