Secret Invasion is coming to Disney Plus in the near future and more and more information is starting to trickle out about it.
There’s still a lot we don’t know, of course, but at least we can confirm that Emilia Clarke will be playing who we all suspected her to be playing: Abigail Brand. That’s right, over on the show’s official Tenor account, a .gif of Clarke posted to the site used the file name ‘Its The Beginning Abigail Brand GIF.’
Of course, those who’ve read the comics will know that Brand was the “commanding officer of S.W.O.R.D., a S.H.I.E.L.D. offshoot that deals with defending the Earth from extraterrestrial threats like Skrulls. Unlike most heroes, no details regarding her personal life have ever been revealed, but she is known to be around 28 years old when the Secret Invasion begins in the comics.”
So, there you have it. It looks like the rumors were right all along and frankly, we can’t wait to see Clarke as Abigail Brand when Secret Invasion debuts.
