Many would think that the most-searched for Marvel movie on Disney Plus would be an Avengers title, and understandably so. But it’s actually not. In fact, it’s a film that’s not even held in that high regard by MCU fans.
A new study has revealed that Black Widow is the most-searched Marvel flick on the platform, ranking #1 in 99 countries around the world. Of course, the fact that it released during the pandemic on the same day it hit theaters may be why it was so heavily searched for on the streaming site, but even now, many months on from its debut, the movie continues to draw in a decent amount of subscribers.
It’s certainly not the most well-liked MCU effort, with a lot of people feeling that it was mediocre at best, but that obviously hasn’t hurt its performance on Disney Plus.
