The release of the first full trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again has been delayed. Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the series, announced on X that the delay is due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
He confirmed that a trailer will still be released, but it won’t come out on the previously expected date of January 13, 2025. The show is set to debut on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, and it has a TV-MA rating.
The story revolves around two powerful figures in New York City’s crime and politics whose lives intersect after years of pursuing separate goals. This clash is a key part of the show’s plot and creates the main conflict. More specific details about the plot are not available yet, as they are waiting for the trailer to be released.
While the delay was surprising, it shouldn’t affect the scheduled March premiere. The impact of the wildfires on the trailer’s post-production hasn’t been confirmed beyond D’Onofrio’s statement. Updates on the trailer’s release will be provided once a new date is set.
