The first reviews for Hawkeye are in and unsurprisingly, it looks like Disney Plus has another hit on their hands. Currently sitting at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, critics are gushing over what appears to be a nice change of pace for the MCU, and you can see a sample of the reviews down below.

Richard Roeper of Chicago Sun-Times had this to say:

Another sharp arrow in the Marvel quiver.

Meanwhile, Therese Lacson of The Beat offers:

Hawkeye refreshes a character that had been pushed to the sidelines with undeniable chemistry and an incredibly promising new leading character.

Elsewhere, Meagan Damore of CBR notes:

Stuffed with humor and heart, Hawkeye has a lot to offer MCU fans new and old.

Over at Collider, Ross Bonaime said:

Simply put, in just one episode, Hawkeye does more for the character than 10 years in the MCU has.

Polygon‘s Rosie Knight, meanwhile, says:

While you might have – some very reasonable – Marvel fatigue, their final show of 2021, Hawkeye, is here to charm and delight even the most cynical viewers.

And at Bleeding Cool, Kaitlyn Booth states:

Hawkeye episodes one and two are an awesome blend of the Matt Fraction/David Aja series and Christmas. Fans of Clint Barton are getting the character they’ve been waiting for in live-action, and Kate Bishop is going to be everyone’s new favorite hero.

Hawkeye begins streaming on Disney Plus tomorrow, November 24th.
