If you thought Jeremy Renner was done with the MCU after Hawkeye, think again. Though many may’ve assumed that the new Disney Plus series would be his final bow in the franchise, producer Trinh Tran thinks differently.
“There are always new stories to be told, especially with Clint Barton,” Tran said. “There is so much more to explore. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but it’s amazing to work with Jeremy. He loves his character, He’s the only person who really knows who Clint Barton is. I think there are possibilities. We’ll see.”
That certainly sounds like Marvel still has plans for Renner post-Hawkeye, but like Tran says, we’ll just have to wait and see what those are. Fingers crossed, though, that he returns again in the future.
