It sounds like at least one star of HBO Max’s Dune is stoked about returning for more.
After the smashing success of the first film, the studio is pushing ahead with Part Two and Timothée Chalamet, who played Paul Atreides in the sci-fi epic, is eager to finish the story.
“We were ready to [go back] back then [when we wrapped Part One],” he said. “This story is far from finished. These characters are far from their end points. It’s a dream come true to get to work with Denis once on a movie of this size. And it’s certainly a marathon and not a sprint, so you have to pace yourself.
Continuing on, he added:
But you don’t want to be weary of having fun. Certainly, in the project I’m working on now [Paul King’s Wonka], I’m learning even more than you don’t have to suffer all day at work. How lucky are we to get to do this?”
After how impressive Dune turned out to be, we’re fairly confident that Part Two will live up to expectations and we can’t wait to see what director Denis Villeneuve has cooked up for us.
