Hawkeye star Vera Farmiga has been around for a while, consistently offering up strong performances in a number of high profile films and TV shows, but it seems she was never much of a Marvel fan before joining the franchise’s latest series.
Speaking in a recent interview, Farmiga revealed that she’d only seen 1 MCU project when she decided to board Hawkeye, and that was Iron Man.
“I saw the first Iron Man; that was the only thing I saw when I got this job,” she said. “And then I had time to do a deep dive.”
At least she had time to dive into the MCU properly before getting to work on Hawkeye, and though she wasn’t given a whole lot to do in the first two episodes, we suspect that there are big things in store for her moving forward.
