Robert Downey Jr. is obviously best known for his role as Iron Man in the MCU, and he’s had great success with that part. But unfortunately, his non-MCU efforts don’t always fare too well. Case in point: Dolittle.
The 2020 bomb saw him playing classic literary character Doctor Dolittle and was not only savaged by critics and fans, but lost a ton of money, too. However, for some strange reason, it’s now making serious moves on Netflix, where it’s quickly climbing up the most-watched list.
Worldwide, it currently sits in 35th place, having jumped up quite a bit from its previous ranking. And while it’s still nowhere near cracking the Top 10, this is still an impressive showing for the Robert Downey Jr. film, which was absolutely mauled upon release.
