Magic Mike 3 is finally happening on HBO Max with Channing Tatum set to star. But unfortunately, the actor couldn’t get his friend Sandra Bullock on board as well.
Not for a lack of trying, mind you. Yes, Tatum did indeed ask her to join, but she refused to and here’s the rather hilarious reason why:
“He’s doing a lot of asking for me to come on board with my skills in the stripping world, which they’re world renowned,” said Bullock. “I don’t know if I wanna do it and take the attention away. Channing needs that moment, and if I step on stage, you know what’s gonna happen, it’s like, all eyes are gonna be on this. It’s all gonna be on mama.”
Honestly, she’s probably right. But even without Bullock involved, you can bet that Magic Mike 3 will be a star-studded affair.
