First Look At Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre Reboot Will Haunt Your Weekend

Netflix is home to the next movie in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and we now have our very first look at it.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Thumb

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise hasn’t had a ton of success in recent years, but Netflix will be looking to change that on February 18th when they release the next film in the series. And thanks to EW, you can get your first glimpse at it down below.

Directed by David Blue Garcia and written by Chris Thomas Devlin, the new pic stars Sarah Yarkin, Elsie Fisher, Nell Hudson, and Jacob Latimore as a “group of friends who make the mistake of traveling too far away from the big city.” The photos in the gallery below, meanwhile, don’t reveal a whole lot, but the first one will definitely send a shiver down your spine.

Speaking about what to expect, Fisher said:

“The film takes place a long time after the original Texas Chainsaw. It’s about a group of people who come to this town and things don’t quite go as planned. It mixes a lot of important real-life issues with horror themes, which is always something I love.”

Look for Texas Chainsaw Massacre to slice its way onto Netflix this coming February.
