Following his turn in The Suicide Squad as Peacemaker, John Cena is returning to the role to headline his own TV series on HBO Max and it’s set to introduce a few new characters into the DCEU.
One of these is Vigilante, and the promo up above teases the friendship between him and Cena’s hero, showing us that they’re going to become best friends pretty fast. Or at least, Vigilante thinks they’re best friends. Peacemaker, on the other hand, is a bit more pessimistic about the whole situation.
Look for The Suicide Squad spinoff to hit HBO Max on January 13th.
