The Witcher Season 2 is finding much love with fans and critics, and is a definite step up from the first run.
Indeed, there’s a lot to like about what these new episodes bring us, but if there’s one thing about them that’s most appreciated, it’s that they’re a heck of a lot less confusing than what came before. And down below, you can see how much folks are loving this fact.

I have now concluded that fans of the Witcher books are the whiniest fanbase.
Season 2 of The Witcher has problems but it's still a good show. An improvement on season 1. No, it's not confusing and no, every tiny deviation from the books doesn't "ruin" a character.

The Witcher S2 was so cool (esp. 2×08), and significantly less confusing [re timelines] than S1.
I’m still looking forward to the wikipedia page being updated with more details bc I’m sure I missed a bunch of things (I never read the books) 😅

Started watching #witcher season 2 and I am impressed. The writing is dark and gritty. More dialogues, less confusing cuts between completely unrelated scenes/timelines.

Finally watching #TheWitcher2 #witcherseason2 #witcher No spoilers. Big difference is this time it isn't as confusing with the times where everything takes place. With season 1, some parts took place before the first episode. Still loved the first season though. pic.twitter.com/NhKAFddy3Q

The Witcher Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix, and is much, much easier to follow than the last outing.
