A particularly bad movie starring Alec Baldwin is finding new life on Netflix, having entered the Top 10 most-watched films list today in the US.
The pic in question is Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat, which has an embarrassingly low 9% on Rotten Tomatoes. Starring Mike Myers in the titular role, and loosely based on the beloved children’s book of the same name, it only pulled in $134 million against a budget of $109 million, making it both a critical and commercial bomb.
But that hasn’t deterred Netflix users, as this Alec Baldwin dud is now the 10th most-watched movie on the platform in the US. Though we have no idea why that is, given how much of a disappointment it turned out to be.
