It may have only just premiered this past weekend, but 1883 is already a huge hit for Paramount+.
The Yellowstone prequel has found itself winning praise from fans and critics alike, and according to Deadline, it’s now the platform’s most-watched original series premiere, “more than doubling the previous viewership record across the service’s owned and operated platforms.”
“The results of 1883’s debut are truly phenomenal,” said Tanya Giles, Chief Programming Officer, ViacomCBS Streaming. “The day 1 streaming numbers coupled with the results of the linear sampling effort, and social response from our audience show the tremendous promise for this series.”
1883 is off to a great start, then, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
