Spider-Man: No Way Home May’ve Hinted That Daredevil Is The Netflix Version

Spider-Man: No Way Home secretly hinted that the Matt Murdock we see in the film is the same as the one from Netflix’s Daredevil.

Following Daredevil‘s – or should we say Matt Murdock’s – cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been asking whether it’s the same version of the character we saw in the Netflix show.

After all, without any reference to his backstory or the events in that series, it’s tough to say. It turns out, though, that there was a little tease which may’ve confirmed it. And it comes when M.J. gives Peter his coffee at the end of the film, as it’s a “blue Anthora coffee cup that says “We Are Happy to Serve You.”

As you may recall, this was a cup that we often saw in the Marvel Netflix shows, and while it’s also been seen in other productions, ScreenRant notes that “since the cup isn’t known to have appeared in previous MCU movies and received a close-up during the portion of the movie re-defining Spider-Man as a grounded New York hero, and is highly recognizable from its use on the Netflix shows, it seems slightly more significant than a simple random coffee cup.”

Frankly, they might be right, but you can decide for yourself whether or not Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped a sneaky little hint about Daredevil.
