That’s the question on everyone’s mind following the Hawkeye finale, where we saw him get shot. But if you’ve been paying close attention, you’ll be aware that he probably did survive and Marvel’s already explained how.

The key is in the scene where Kingpin is hit by Kate’s arrow, which don’t seem to have much impact on him. This is because, as ScreenRant explains, “his clothes are actually practically indestructible bulletproof armor that resembles cloth. In Daredevil, Wilson Fisk’s clothes were made by Melvin Potter (Matt Gerald), a mentally-impaired ex-con who is also a genius weapons designer for the underworld. Potter was conscripted to make all of the Kingpin’s suits, which Hawkeye establishes also extends to Fisk’s jaunty Hawaiian shirt.”
Therefore, unless Maya Lopez shot the villain right in the head, he probably would’ve survived the wound thanks to his armored suit. And let’s be honest, there’s no way they brought Kingpin back for a quick appearance on Hawkeye only to kill him off and never use him in any future MCU project. Surely Marvel knows better than that.
