Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has just dropped a new promo image and it teases the arrival of a new samurai.
As you can see below, he actually appears to be more like a ronin than a soldier and we’ll apparently get to meet him in “The Rusty Sword,” which airs on January 9th. That’s not too far off now, but in the meantime, take a look for yourself at what’s coming down the pipeline:

ComicBook.com notes that “this latest warrior is unlike the swordsmen we have met in the past,” and they’re certainly right about that. It’s still unclear what he may be getting up to in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, but we can’t wait to find out.
