One Of The Biggest Box Office Bombs Ever Is Now On Netflix

One of the biggest box office bombs in history is now on Netflix, but you may want to avoid it even if you’ve never seen it.

Wild Wild West Thumb

To kick off the New Year, Netflix added a ton of fresh movies and TV shows today – including what many consider to be one of the biggest box office bombs ever.

The film in question is 1999 Western Wild Wild West, starring Will Smith and Kevin Kline and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. With a $170 million budget – and Smith in the lead role – hopes were high for the blockbuster ahead of its release. But unfortunately, it was a complete dud, only managing to gross $222 million worldwide.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, the pic also scooped up eight Razzie nominations, going on to win five. By all counts, then, it was a total disaster for Warner Bros. and hasn’t gotten any better with time. But if you’re curious to see how something so promising can go so wrong, you can catch Wild Wild West on Netflix now.
