As a guilty pleasure for many, it’s no surprise that the second season of Emily in Paris once again jumped right to the top of the Netflix most-watched charts. And with a third run all but confirmed thanks to that cliffhanger that the finale left us on, it seems that we haven’t seen the last of the titular character’s Parisian adventures.
But what was it about the role that made star Lily Collins so eager to sign on? Well, it turns out that it came down to one simple thing, as the actress explained in a recent interview. “She sees ‘no’ as a comma, not a period,” she said. And this was something that she was able to relate to, having been rejected at plenty of auditions when she was starting out. “If I had just accepted those ‘no’s,’ I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today,” said Collins.
Emily in Paris Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix and we imagine it’s only a matter of time before the platform makes the next run official.
