Hot off the success of Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner is now finding himself in the spotlight on another streaming platform. And this time, it’s Netflix.
When it comes to the actor’s best work, there are usually two films that people will name: The Town and The Hurt Locker. Both are fantastic efforts, but we prefer the former and it’s that one which is firing up the Netflix charts today. In fact, at the time of this writing, it’s the 10th most-watched movie in the US.
A crime drama directed by Ben Affleck, it follows a “proficient group of thieves who rob a bank and hold Claire, the assistant manager, hostage.” Tense, thrilling and full of fantastic performances, The Town is a terrific piece of work and one that along with The Hurt Locker, helped put Jeremy Renner on the map.
