With the MCU as big as it is, it’s not unusual to come across a non-Marvel movie starring 2 actors from the superhero franchise. But to find a film that features 3 of them is a bit more rare.
However, with the cinematic universe continuing to expand, and more and more talent being welcomed into it, it is getting easier and one such effort is Kong: Skull Island. The blockbuster stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, and brings us the origin story of King Kong, helping to lay the groundwork for what would become the MonsterVerse.
And just in case those three aforementioned names weren’t enough for you, Skull Island also features Corey Hawkins, who had a very small role in Iron Man 3, and Terry Notary, who played Cull Obsidian in Infinity War and Endgame. Neither of them could be called MCU stars, but they have indeed had parts in the franchise.
We digress, though. Circling back to Kong: Skull Island, and it’s now the 24th most-watched film on Netflix, having jumped up 30 places on the worldwide list. And with such star power behind it, don’t be surprised if it climbs up even higher.
