It looks like Netflix is moving ahead on not 1 but 2 sequels to Red Notice, reports Deadline.
Given the movie’s immense success, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise frankly, and we’re told that the follow-ups will shoot back to back. Not only that, but Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot are all expected to return for more. Which, again, was expected.
Production will begin early next year, with Netflix looking to “add new characters to flesh out a heist film ensemble reminiscent of the starry Oceans Eleven franchise.” No word yet on who else may be joining the cast, but we heard a few names rumored a while back and hopefully more will be revealed soon as Red Notice 2 and its sequel gear up to shoot.
