Netflix has gone ahead and raised their prices once again. But only in certain regions.
In the United States and Canada, the Standard plan will go up by $1.50 and now costs $15.49 in the US and $16.49 in Canada. And while it’s not a huge hike, this is still the first increase in the US since October 2020.
“We understand people have more entertainment choices than ever and we’re committed to delivering an even better experience for our members,” a Netflix rep told Variety. “We’re updating our prices so that we can continue to offer a wide variety of quality entertainment options. As always we offer a range of plans so members can pick a price that works for their budget.”
Of course, even at this price point, Netflix is still a fantastic deal and hopefully these new prices won’t deter too many people from subscribing.
