Peacemaker Episode 4 Confirmed That Another Joker Exists In The DCEU

Peacemaker Episode 4 brought us a few interesting revelations, including the fact that another Joker exists in the DCEU.

In Episode 4 of Peacemaker, we got a brief confirmation of something pretty intriguing. That being that another Joker exists in the DCEU, though we don’t know their true identity.

The moment in question comes when the titular hero goes back to his father’s house and his dad’s neighbour begins talking to him, name-dropping Mr. J in the process. However, he also mentions Batman and says that the Dark Knight doesn’t kill people.

And why is that so important? Well, as ScreenRant points out:

There have been several clues in the Peacemaker TV show that it doesn’t take place in the same timeline as the main DCEU. One of the most prominent is the idea that Batman’s no-kill rule is in place, while Zack Snyder’s direction of the Ben Affleck Batman had him kill people repeatedly, but a version of the Wayne Foundation logo is also seen and is notably different from the one that appears in the DCEU. If the Peacemaker timeline includes a different version of Batman that doesn’t kill people, then it logically means that the mention of Joker in Peacemaker episode 4 confirms a new version of Joker for this timeline as well.

Peacemaker continues next week on HBO Max with a new episode.
