The MCU doesn’t miss very often, but it’s done so a few times, including when we got Thor: The Dark World. On its own, it’s not necessarily an awful movie – at least not in our eyes – but when held up beside the rest of what Marvel Studios has delivered, it’s certainly not terribly memorable, nor is it very impressive.
So, it’s a bit unexpected to see that it’s now charging up the Disney Plus charts. At the moment, it’s the 20th most-watched film on the platform worldwide and performing better than efforts like Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the original Thor.
Why it’s now experiencing this surge in views, we don’t know, but maybe some people will come to find that perhaps it wasn’t as bad as they first thought.
