A controversial movie starring Lily Collins is taking off over on Netflix today, where it sits as the 15th most-watched film on the platform.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile focuses on infamous serial killer Ted Bundy and stars Zac Efron alongside Collins. Though it received generally positive reviews, it did cause a bit of a stir upon its release for its portrayal of Bundy and what some feel was a glorification of him.
But clearly that’s not deterring Netflix users, who continue to flock to the film as it rises up the charts. Why it’s surging now out of nowhere is unclear, but Lily Collins is obviously a big hit on the platform thanks to Emily in Paris, so perhaps her involvement has something to do with it.
