Not that it’ll come as much of a surprise to anyone, but Paramount has renewed its mega hit Yellowstone for a fifth season today, ensuring that fans will have more time to spend with the Dutton family.
Given what a juggernaut it’s been for the network in terms of ratings, it’s not hard to see why the studio has decided to order another round of the neo-Western series and considering how Season 4 ended, there are already a number of exciting directions in which these new episodes can head in.
“Yellowstone’s record-breaking performance proves we’ve tapped a cultural nerve and unleashed a passionate audience from the center of the country to each of the coasts,” said Chris McCarthy, President and CEO of ViacomCBS Media Network. “Kevin Costner leads our incredible cast who make the Duttons America’s favorite family and, this new season is sure to be another one fans won’t want to miss.”
No premiere date has been announced yet for Yellowstone Season 5, but it’s definitely coming and that fact should be enough to tide fans over.
