Following on from Welcome to Earth, Disney Plus has announced a follow-up series titled Pole to Pole, which will once again feature Will Smith, as he takes us on an “astounding journey from the bottom of the planet to its top — covering 26,000 miles from the South Pole to the North Pole — to unlock the mystery of Earth’s astonishing diversity and alchemy.”
Travelling through deserts, jungles, mountains and more, Smith and his team will “embed with local communities and experience firsthand what it is like to live in some of the most amazing and extreme landscapes on the planet.” Color us excited.
Produced by National Geographic in their third collaboration with the Men in Black actor, following Welcome to Earth and One Strange Rock, there’s no release date for it just yet, but fans of Will Smith‘s previous nature docs will surely find much to like in this one, too.
