Reacher hit Prime Video over the weekend and turned out to be a major success story for the platform. In fact, the numbers were so good that they’ve already ordered more.
The Alan Ritchson-starring series is an adaptation of Lee Child’s literary character who’s already been brought to life on screen before by Tom Cruise. For many people, though, Ritchson did a better job of playing Jack Reacher and with the show ranking in Prime Video’s Top 5 most-watched series ever in the US and globally over a 24 hour period, it’s no surprise that Season 2 is now being pushed into development.
There’s no date yet for when we may see more of Reacher, but at least subscribers can rest easy knowing that his story will continue on screen.
