Could we soon see some R-rated Marvel movies and shows on Disney Plus? It certainly looks that way.
As pointed out by The Direct, the sign-in page for the streamer in the US displays the layout with Star, which is a content hub on the platform available in international territories, which often carries more mature titles from the Mouse House’s subsidiaries.
Just to make sure that this wasn’t a mistake and the same sign-in page was being used for both US and UK, The Direct did a quick check. And as you can see below, it’s indeed a different page in each territory.

The Mouse House has since corrected the error and the US sign-in page now omits Star, but it makes you wonder if there’s something to this. After all, it was only recently that Star was added. As of a day or two ago, it wasn’t there. So, perhaps someone slipped up and posted this version early.
In any case, it’s looking like Disney Plus may be getting some more mature content sooner rather than later.
