As Netflix winds down the month, they’ve got 2 exciting releases dropping onto the platform today which are very different from one another, but certainly worth checking out if you’ve never seen them.
The first is Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to Ridley Scott’s iconic sci-fi classic which didn’t perform as well as it should’ve in theaters, but is an excellent and beautifully put together film that really deserved more success than it found at the box office.
As for the other movie hitting Netflix today, that’d be King of Thieves, a 2018 crime drama that’s based on the Hatton Garden safe deposit burglary of 2015. It’s not exactly awards-worthy material, but it’s a very fun heist film that hits a lot of the right notes for the genre.
