3 comic book movies are finding new life over on Netflix this week, though none of them are that great.
The first is Venom, which was a monster hit at the box office but suffered from tepid reviews and a general feeling that it was ultimately a letdown. Over on the streaming site, though, it’s sitting at #18 on the most-watched worldwide list, having jumped up a massive 65 places.
Meanwhile, we’ve also got Birds of Prey, which is now at #11. In a bit of a reverse from Venom, this one has strong support from fans but failed to ignite at the box office. Admittedly, it’s got a lot of problems, but it definitely deserved to perform better than it did.
And finally we’ve got Spider-Man 3, swinging around at #60 on Netflix. As one of the more disappointing superhero movies out there, it’s interesting to see it placing on the most-watched list, but the web-slinger is pretty hot right now so perhaps it makes sense.
