The Batman is finally here and brought with it a few pleasant surprises, as well as a bunch of teases for where the Dark Knight’s world could be headed next.
After all, we know that HBO Max is going to be home to several spinoffs and according to director Matt Reeves, the Joker may appear in one of them. Speaking in a recent interview, he was asked about the Clown Prince of Crime’s presence in his universe and he said:
“There’s stuff I’m very interested in doing in an Arkham space, potentially for HBO Max. There are things we’ve talked about there. So it’s very possible. It also isn’t impossible, that there is some story that comes back where Joker comes into our world.”
The Batman is currently showing in cinemas worldwide.
