Though its second run was definitely a step down from the first, Truth Be Told is still one of the better shows on Apple TV+ and it looks like the streamer knows this, too, as they’ve renewed it for Season 3.
Plot details are still scarce for the next chapter, but creator of the series Nichelle Tramble Spellman, who served as showrunner for the first two outings, will remain as an executive producer.
“I am excited that the Poppy Scoville journey will continue to unfold on Apple TV+. And, I’m just thrilled to welcome Maisha Closson as our new showrunner and executive producer. Can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you,” said Spellman.
Apple TV+ hasn’t announced a premiere date yet, but expect Truth Be Told to return for Season 3 in 2022.
