A Historic Leonardo DiCaprio Movie Is Clawing Its Way Up The Disney Plus Charts

A historic Leonardo DiCaprio movie is moving up the Disney Plus charts today as tons of subscribers flock to check it out.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Believe it or not, Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t win his first Oscar until 2016, when The Revenant made history by bringing one of Hollywood’s finest actors Academy Awards glory at long last.

He’d been nominated several times, but the survival epic finally brought him the trophy and it was well deserved, as his performance as Hugh Glass is one of his finest. Co-starring Tom Hardy and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, The Revenant follows “a frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s who fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.”

It’s a superb piece of filmmaking that was an awards season favorite and now, it’s finding a lot of love on Disney Plus. Currently, it sits at #23 on the most-watched movies worldwide chart, with DiCaprio’s latest effort, Don’t Look Up, no doubt inspiring viewers to go back and check out some of his other work.
