Andrew Garfield is having a huge 2021.
Obviously, the biggest project he appeared in was Spider-Man: No Way Home, but let’s not forget that he’s also shown up in a few other notable titles over the last 12 months. There was Netflix’s tick, tick… BOOM!, the underrated Mainstream and also biographical drama The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which follows Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker’s rise “from humble beginnings to create the world’s largest religious broadcasting network and a theme park”
It’s that last one which is now finding success on streaming, too, shooting up the Disney Plus charts today to wind up as the 20th most-watched film on the platform. Why it’s suddenly finding such a large audience on there is unclear, but no doubt it’s due at least partly to the aforementioned No Way Home, with everyone buzzing about Andrew Garfield at the moment.
