The Marvel Netflix shows are coming to Disney Plus this week and while fans will no doubt enjoy digging into them, it seems the Mouse House is only choosing to spotlight 5 of the 7 that are on the way.
In D23’s Five Fantastic Things to Watch This Week article, the studio shared that there are several new Marvel titles heading to Disney Plus but for some reason didn’t recommend all of them. Among the ones they pointed out were Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Defenders.
The two series that were left out here are, of course, Iron Fist and The Punisher. And while you could argue that they were omitted because the article was called Five Fantastic Things to Watch This Week and not Seven Fantastic Things to Watch This Week, perhaps there’s more to this than meets the eye.
As The Direct points out, Iron Fist was also MIA from a recent Disney Plus promo highlighting the Defenders shows, while the more mature content found in The Punisher makes it stick out like a sore thumb on the platform. Whatever the case may be, though, you can catch all these series on the streaming service beginning tomorrow.
