Disney Plus has ordered up Rhona Who Lives By The River, a new animated musical series from Suburgatory creator Emily Kapnek, with Karen Gillan set to star and executive produce
It’ll circle around the adventures of Rhona #3 (Gillan), who’s “the third most interesting Rhona in a small Scottish town, whose life is utterly dull. But after a freak clootie well accident results in bacterial pinkeye and the ability to make her own wishes come true, Rhona’s star is finally on the rise!”
No word yet on additional casting or when we might see it, but it certainly sounds like one to keep an eye on!
