Is The Book of Boba Fett another disappointment for the Star Wars franchise? That’s what a new rumor is claiming.
We’ll caution to take this with a grain of salt, especially as we learned just yesterday that the show’s premiere drew in more viewers than Hawkeye‘s premiere. Which isn’t saying a whole lot given that the Jeremy Renner-led series wasn’t a monster hit in terms of numbers, but still, it’s something.

We digress, though. According to scooper WDW Pro at That Park Place, The Book of Boba Fett is “heading out of the gate as an abject failure of monumental proportions” and it’s not “doing as well in streaming numbers as The Walt Disney Company would like.”
Even if this is true, we’re only 1 episode into the series and there’s still time for it to pick up steam. Admittedly, The Book of Boba Fett‘s premiere was lacking, but given that Robert Rodriguez is overseeing thing, we’re confident that it’ll begin to gather momentum.
